We have had this toy in active every-other-daily use for several years... the same one we originally ordered... minus the tug loop. We have an Entlebucher Sennenhund with titanium jaws, and the tug loop could not survive the vigorous tugging she subjected it to. Note that she did not chew the tug loop; she yanked it out, blasting it with her tugging! That tug loop lasted about two weeks, after which I cut off the dangling threads.
