Epson E10000XL-GA Review: Epson Expression 10000XL- Graphic Arts Scanner. I found the scanner to be packaged well and delivered safely. It worked from the second I plugged it in. One feature I like is that the cover stays open when you lift it and it expands so that thicker items can be placed on the screen. The 17" wide screen makes scanning large paintings as composites a piece of cake. I was surprised that it takes so long to scan at high resolutions though.
